Swellendam gets uber-clean, in their fight against COVID-19
With the world fighting a global and dire pandemic, there’s never been a more apt time to prioritize the health and safety of your family, work and shared spaces.
Today, for the first time, the third oldest town in South Africa is shining the spotlight on its efforts to keep its inhabitants as safe as possible, with a mass defogging that took place in Swellendam.
Earlier this morning, all mask-clad locals were invited to celebrate the last day of June together watching their town getting sprayed by Uber Clean; a gesture of goodwill at a vital time.
Uber Clean is a disinfectant fogging service, all-natural and FDA approved. This eco-friendly, biodegradable fogging service is safe for the environment, humans, and animals with technicians who visit your home, office, gym, church, shopping and medical centres to cleanse your environment and help keep your common spaces, germ and virus free.
Using an active ingredient, HOCl, also found naturally in our immune systems, the high-pressure spray combats harmful pathogens whilst eliminating micro organisms, viruses and bacteria found in common spaces.
It’s not the first we’ve heard of these services and with the staggering growth of this pandemic and its climbing active cases, ensuring your own safety is now a basic need.
What is noteworthy though, is how this service dovetails its offering with the opportunity to uplift SA in these tough economic times. They’re planning on achieving this by up-skilling local citizens and affording earning-opportunity to those who need it most.
With the year seemingly passing by in a blink of the eye, we can’t believe we’re about to enter the seventh month of the year. We look forward to further easing of lockdown regulations and applaud all good news; from the restaurant industry slowly trickling back to life, to local businesses who’ve found opportunity amidst the chaos.
